Caspian Geopolitical Patience
Vali Alibayov “Today and Tomorrow. Azerbaijan in Focus” journal The Karabagh conflict which is not solved around 20 years went down to history as the most bloody and complex conflict in the Post Sovet region. The ceasefire which was reached in 1993 stopped the direct military attacks, but it could not provide the cessation of bloodshed and reach the peace agreement. Today the solution of the problem is almost impossible; the parties reject the peace proposals proposed by mediators. But the processes which are lately going on in the region are the sign that there will be radical changes in Karabagh conflict. The case is about decisive stage of the struggle which was begun by important states in Caspian. |
